We are very grateful to Mike and Zara Tindall and all their guests, for generously supporting this wonderful day of golf and entertainment again in aid of Cure Parkinson’s.

Former England Rugby captain and Patron of Cure Parkinson’s Mike Tindall and his wife Zara hosted celebrities including: Boyzone star Ronan Keating and his wife Storm;  fellow band member Keith Duffy; Westlife’s Brian McFadden; Liverpool FC legend Kenny Dalglish; BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker; Denise Van Outen; Champion Jockey AP McCoy; along with rugby’s Iain Balshaw and Max Evans on a sunny Friday in May. Mike welcomed over 100 guests to tee off from the superb Brabazon Course at the Belfry Golf Club.

The day of competitive fun ended on a high with a gala dinner and entertainment from comedian Rory Bremner. A stand up five-piece band walking amongst the dinner tables encouraged guests to join in the singing and guests generously took part in a very lively and rewarding auction.

CPT CEO Will Cook spoke about the International Linked Clinical Trials initiative and special appreciation was paid to Charlie Appleyard from Annapurna Recruitment who enjoyed playing the 18 hole course with his colleagues, and eloquently spoke at dinner about his Parkinson’s diagnosis two years ago. The Celebrity Golf Day holds special poignancy for CPT as the same occasion was the last fundraising event former Co-founder and President, Tom Isaacs, attended before his sudden death in 2017.

We are very grateful to Mike and Zara Tindall and all their guests, for generously supporting this wonderful day again in aid of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust and the Matt Hampson Foundation.
