On Friday 17 January, Ann Winter began her magnificent journey, walking 70 miles along the Isle of Wight Coastal path to raise funds and awareness for Cure Parkinson’s. She said:

I walked the Isle of Wight Coastal Path for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust because I’m raising funds in memory of my late husband…I’m determined to raise money to help fund research so that one day, we might find a cure to help other people living with this disease.

Ann braved this incredible challenge in the memory of her late husband of 58 years who had Parkinson’s disease. Sadly, John passed away in October last year.

Ann has done spectacularly well, completing the great 70 mile walk in 7 days, and smashing her original fundraising target raising over £2500 for Cure Parkinson’s!

All at Cure Parkinson’s would like a to say well done and a big thank you Anne. We are hugely grateful for your wonderful support.
