Cure Parkinson’s is delighted to announce that it has been chosen as the official charity partner to Boardwave.
Launched in April 2022, Boardwave is already the pre-eminent networking community for leading European software founders, CEO’s, chairs and their investors, with 600 members and importantly, is doing good in the Parkinson’s community at the same time. Boardwave is a not-for-profit group and at the end of each year, any surplus capital will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s; for 2022, Boardwave made an incredible donation of £100,000 which will go towards our research.
Boardwave was founded by Phill Robinson, a leading entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience in the software industry both in Europe and Silicon Valley. Phill was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2017 and retired from his final software leadership role, as CEO of Exact, in the Netherlands, in 2021. Since his return to the UK he has also led the formation of the Development Board at Cure Parkinson’s.
Phill talks about his experience living with Parkinson’s in his blog ‘Stirred Not Shaking’.
I am incredibly proud of what Boardwave has achieved in a few short months. Our growth has been astonishing. As a not-for-profit I am also delighted to announce our association with Cure Parkinson’s, who are our chosen Charity Partner. Their work to research a cure for Parkinson’s is innovative, unique and world-leading.”
Phill Robinson, Boardwave Founder
