Become an ambassador
As an ambassador, you’ll play a vital role in representing Cure Parkinson’s, sharing our mission, and raising awareness about the urgent need for research into better treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s.
By sharing your personal connection to Parkinson’s, you’ll inspire others to support our work and join our journey toward a world without Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do as an ambassador
- Raise awareness and advocate:
- Spread the word about Parkinson’s and the work Cure Parkinson’s is doing.
- Connect with supporters and influential people to advocate for Parkinson’s research and funding.
- Get involved in our campaigns, share key messages, and encourage others to support our work through research, events, and fundraising.
- Share your story:
- Use your personal experiences to inspire and raise awareness. You might write for our publications, take part in our webinars, or share stories online about living with Parkinson’s and why research matters. Occasionally, you could represent Cure Parkinson’s in media interviews (TV, radio, or online) to amplify our message.
- Speak at events:
- Represent Cure Parkinson’s at events, speaking about your experiences and the importance of our work.
- Join Q&A or focus group sessions or discussions at webinars and research updates, offering unique insights into life with Parkinson’s.
- Engage with event attendees to build understanding and inspire others to get involved.
- Support fundraising:
- Motivate others by sharing how research and donations make a difference.
- Promote events and initiatives through your personal network, social media, or outreach.
