Become a Trial Blazer
As a Trial Blazer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the clinical trials funded by Cure Parkinson’s. By sharing your lived experience, you can help make sure trials are designed and run with participants’ needs in mind.
Your insights into trial design and delivery can help improve the way they are run, encourage more people to join, and help participants feel supported along the way.
What you’ll do as a Trial Blazer
- Share your insights: Use your experiences to help us shape the design, delivery, and reporting of clinical trials. Your feedback will make sure trials are practical, accessible, and focused on what matters most to people with Parkinson’s.
- Break down barriers: Advise us on the challenges people face when joining trials and suggest ways to improve the experience for everyone.
- Support others thinking about taking part: Share your story – whether through talks, written pieces, or one-on-one chats – to inspire and guide others considering research.
- Work with our team: Take part in feedback sessions, focus groups, or PPIE (Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement) groups to improve trial design and participant materials. Help ensure the voices of people with Parkinson’s are front and centre in everything we do.
