Cure³ is a unique selling exhibition devised in association with Bonhams and Susie Allen and Laura Culpan from Artwise, to raise awareness and funds for vital research into a cure for Parkinson’s.
Since 2017, there have been three critically acclaimed exhibitions featuring 176 leading international artists and 234 unique, specially created artworks. To date, Cure³ has raised a total of £1.2 million for Cure Parkinson’s.
We are incredibly grateful to the international artists who have generously donated their time and their talent to support Cure Parkinson’s over the three previous editions of Cure³, each having been invited to create a unique artwork using a bespoke, Perspex box of 20cm3. The cube can be used in any way the artist chooses; as a frame, a support or to contain. The cube concept was borne out of a description by Cure Parkinson’s late co-founder and President Tom Isaacs, who, of living with Parkinson’s, described his feeling as though he was ‘being boxed in’. Tom was incredibly passionate about the inaugural Cure³ exhibition in 2017.
Leading artists have included Carmen Herrera, Sir Anish Kapoor, Sir Peter Blake, Sarah Lucas, Peter Doig, Rose Wylie, Grayson Perry, Rana Begum, and Damien Hirst. And leading names from the world of design including Ron Arad, Giles Deacon and Molly Goddard.
‘One of the most successful arty charitable initiatives’
