Last Thursday, over 100 teams came together on Zoom to take part in The Great Big Comedy Quiz, hosted by legendary comedian Tim Vine and TV comedy writer and Cure Parkinson’s patron Paul Mayhew-Archer.

The evening began with both Tim and Paul doing what they do best – making our audience laugh. Tim’s iconic one liners provided the perfect warm up for our contestants, while Paul entertained the audience with his own stand-up comedy, filled as usual with his infectious positivity.

All at Cure Parkinson’s would like to thank both Tim and Paul for giving their time to hosting this event, and bringing such a fantastic evening of entertainment and laughter to our living rooms. We’d also like to thank everyone who took part, with a special congratulations to the winning team, ‘Alarm Belles’!

Tim and Paul both have such a talent for bringing a smile to people’s faces, and we were honoured to have them host our first Great Big Comedy Quiz. In spite of the challenges posed by having to move live comedy onto a virtual stage, Tim and Paul absolutely made it work with ease. We are so grateful to them both for their time and hard work.
