Thank you for your interest in becoming a trustee of Cure Parkinson’s, the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s, the fastest growing neurological condition in the world.

Cure Parkinson’s is at an important juncture; growing in size and experience, working with partners to develop major clinical trials and identifying fresh avenues for research. We have ambitious fundraising targets to enable us to progress our research and clinical objectives.

The present Board of Trustees comprises eight members including our interim chair. We have capacity for up to 12 trustees and we are now looking to recruit new members to expand the skills and experience of the board. Specifically we are looking to recruit trustees with experience in areas such as:

  • Marketing/Communications – particularly digital.
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Pharmaceuticals and business development
  • Clinical research experience

Cure Parkinson’s is committed to the principles of equality and diversity and encourages applications from our wide community. We value people with knowledge or experience of Parkinson’s either as a person living with Parkinson’s or as a carer/family member.

Below you will find the combined trustee role descriptions. Please also find more details of our work with our latest Annual Report and Audited Accounts.

If you are interested in joining us, please send a short application outlining the reasons for your interest and describing your relevant skills and experience.
